International Day is an annual event celebrated in many high schools around the world. It is a day where students, staff, and parents come together to celebrate the diversity of cultures and traditions that exist within their school community. The event is usually organized by a committee of teachers and parents who work together to showcase the richness of different cultures amongst the school population.

In some schools, the tradition of International Day has been celebrated for many years. For example, at the International School of Beijing, International Day has been celebrated since 1994. The event showcases the community heritage from around the world, and each person has their own section to introduce cultural food and popular activities. The event has grown and evolved over the years to accommodate the ideas, enthusiasm, and participation of the entire school community. It has become an “all school event” that is eagerly anticipated by students, staff, and parents.

International Day is an important event in high schools because it promotes cultural diversity and multilingualism. It is an opportunity for students to learn about different cultures, traditions, and languages.
